Out of Style, Out of Service marks the first full-length collaboration between Gel Roc and vocalist, musician, and producer Ariano.
Built from breakbeats, samples, and live instrumentation, the album blends introspective lyricism with organic arrangements, incorporating guitar, bass, and saxophone throughout. Ariano known first for his vocal work approaches production from a performer’s perspective, shaping a sound that feels human, warm, and lived-in.
“This record came together quickly and naturally,” says Gel Roc. “Working with Ariano opened space for things to breathe differently. His mixing, the live instrumentation, and the overall emotion all became part of the identity of the album.”
Featuring guest appearances by Brevi, Pigeon John, Mestizo, Zane One, and DJ Awkward of The Cloaks.
