"Deep Waters" is the latest piece from the New York/New Jersey collective Invaders of the Universe. Vinz Vega produces while Tyler Harrison shoots along New Jersey's coastal terrain and near Sandy Hook — not as a scenic backdrop, but as abandoned, almost extraterrestrial landscape with strange alien objects subtly placed throughout. Dom Staxx engineers and mixes. Mister Misk handles the hook and first verse, Kromeatose delivers the second, and Pryme Prolifik closes the record. The project plays deliberately with its collective name: the camera avoids familiar landmarks and searches instead for dormant vegetation, weathered earth, and empty horizons — a visual that feels less like a music video and more like evidence from an unexplained event.
