Modenine (Babatunde Olusegun Adewale), one of Nigerian boom bap's defining voices since 2004's "Malcolm IX," self-produces "Bragadinho" entirely — the second installment in a monthly album series planned to run from June through December. Ten tracks, kept tight, with Rae & SlimBuck and Amuta Stone as the only guests. The stated mission is blunt: pure boom bap, no concessions to whatever's trending.
