Sam Krats lifts "Two Shots" from his limited-edition album "Culture," out via Revorg Records, and the pairing of Ruste Juxx and Daddie Notch gives the beat exactly the pressure it calls for. Juxx carries that Brownsville, Duck Down-bred rawness he's honed since the Sean Price era all impact, no decoration while Krats' production bridges UK craftsmanship and East Coast tradition without diluting either. The album is available on vinyl, CD, cassette and digital physical-first thinking from a producer who clearly builds for the crates.
