Thirstin himself said about the project on his Facebook: "Got to take a moment and thank all the people who put their hearts and hard work into making this production a reality. We slept in the jungle for 3 days. Me and my daughter practiced for weeks doing the make up. Flaco aka Eternol One brought all his real santeria works to add the flavor. He also created the costumes and look we wanted. We involved our children as cast and crew. Some had to drive 6 hours to the location."
