Pay or Dispute is rapper/producer Duncecap's latest project; a portrait of his life in NYC, served up by the slice. Backwoodz also released Dunce's 2022's collaboration with fellow Brooklynite Hajino - Go Climb a Tree - but this is mostly a self-produced affair, save for some additional production from Quelle Chris and Headtrip. Pay or Dispute finds Dunce navigating sobriety, dating and personal growth over loopy earworms with support from Denmark Vessey, Shrapknel, Fatboi Sharif, Lord Kayso and Googie.
