My Hometown by 60 East

The celebrated artist and founder of the Happiness of Pursuit Festival, 60 East, is set to release his latest masterpiece—an album produced by three out of seven members of the Soul Council, the producer collective founded by hip-hop icon 9th Wonder.
The journey to this collaboration began when 60 East served as direct support for the Jericho Jackson Album tour, headlined by Jamla Records' Jericho Jackson (Elzhi and Khrysis). During this tour, 60 East established a connection with Khrysis that would lead to the creation of an album and an introduction to Eric G. and Sndtrak, who are also members of The Soul Council.
This groundbreaking album features a stellar lineup of artists, including Rhymesayers sensation Sa-Roc, former XXL Freshman class member Blu, Blueprint of the Weightless Records collective in Ohio, and the incomparable DJ Rhettmatic of the world-famous Beat Junkies collective.
Additionally, the album boasts collaborations with Inland Empire staples Sly Boogy, Trizz, and Oktane of Audio Push, creating a diverse and dynamic collection of tracks.
The 12-track album, along with a captivating intro, showcases 60 East's evolution as an artist and his ability to seamlessly blend various styles and influences. The production prowess of Khrysis, Eric G, and Sndtrak elevates each track to new heights, promising listeners an immersive and unforgettable musical experience.
Fans can expect an exploration of profound lyricism, innovative beats, and a unique fusion of talents that solidify 60 East's position as a global force in the hip-hop scene. The album reflects the collaborative spirit and creative synergy between 60 East and The Soul Council members, delivering a sonic journey that transcends boundaries and resonates with audiences worldwide.
