East Point, GA rapper/producer Yamin Semali presents "Phantom Feeling," the title track from his new album produced by Virginia beatsmith Dublohskytzo. Featuring guest appearances from Lazurus and Bright Son, Phantom Feeling is Yamin's second collaboration with Dublohskytzo, the first being 2017's HotEP. In addition to his collaborations with Blu, Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound, and J-Live, Yamin's work as one half of the Atlanta rap duo Clan Destined earned them a 5 out of 5 rating from Creative Loafing for their album Self Titled. Yamin made AllHipHop's Top Indie Artists of 2015 list, as well as their Top 50 Artists of 2014 list, and Yamin's self-titled debut solo album landed on Dart Adam's Top 50 Albums of 2013 list. "A phantom feeling is the sensation you get when you are disconnected from something, but you can still feel its presence, like a missing limb that still itches," says Yamin. I've been working on this album for three years and now, due to the pandemic, many people are dealing with this phenomenon metaphorically through social distancing and having to deal with the 'new normal'. I hope these tracks help listeners deal with it all, because I felt this way years ago.
