For “Wu Wednesday,” Black Stone of Mecca (BSOM) has made an exclusive snippet available as a free download. The material serves as a preview of an extensive body of work created over two decades (2005–2025). BSOM expressly emphasizes that these are authentic recordings and that no AI-generated or recycled verses were used.
The planned release will take place in three phases:
The Flood (the current phase)
The Storm
The Rapture
The snippets now being released are deliberately raw, largely unmixed and unmastered. According to BSOM, numerous complete projects are already in the works, involving artists from the Wu-Tang circle and the BSOM lineage, including the Black Knights of the Northstar, the Black Knights Chessmen Project, Shorty Shit Stain, Wu-Syndicate, Cappadonna, and Northstar.
