Q-Unique joins forces with the world famous Beat Junkies member DJ Rhettmatic for one of the freshest Hip Hop albums slated for 2026, The QR Code. With Rhettmatic on the beats & cuts and Q-Unique providing rhymes full of punchlines, wisdom, vulnerability and soul.
Q & Rhett spark things up with the 1st single, Cypha Up, a beat and bar driven track complete with pure flyness with a touch of 5% wisdom. Rhett’s boom bap track has a swing that’ll have you noddin’ the eff out with that ugly/satisfied look on your face.
The significance of the album title, the QR Code is that Q-Unique and Rhettmatic have lived by a code in hip hop of pure intent, and being true to themselves and to their audience.
This album promises to bring you Q & Rhett’s interpretation of that real hip-hop, an honest chemical reaction between two practitioners that are highly regarded in the community, from different coasts, but have always lived in a parallel universe of not only becoming generals in the underground circle, but also both being members of the legendary Rock Steady Crew and even both having been employees of the iconic hip-hop shop, Fatbeats, both have even toured together with their respective groups the Visionaries and the Arsonists.
This album is complete with some amazing collaborations, including LMNO from the Visionaries, Esoteric from Czarface, Mecca and Sonny Sandoval from the band P.O.D.
