Ruelz Rekka is what you'd call a "one-man army" in rap. On his new maxi-single "Flows," he does everything himself: rapping, beatmaking, mastering, and artwork. The result is a purist, unadulterated sound that sounds exactly like underground hip-hop should: direct, honest, and unvarnished. The single is released in three versions: original, radio edit, and instrumental. The instrumental is especially worthwhile for anyone who wants to understand how Rekka's minimalist yet effective beats work. His statement on the release: "The greatest detriment to humanity is stupidity." Enough said.
