Komo Sarcani and Le Chimiste turn “Plug” into a transatlantic underground link. Le Chimiste’s production is dark, sample-rooted, and open enough to let Komo’s French delivery breathe while giving XP The Marxman the right lane to enter. XP brings his Los Angeles lyricist discipline without sounding like a pasted-on feature. The record is mixed with enough pressure to hit, but it never crowds the voices. It works because the connection feels organic, not arranged for name value.
