Agallah remains one of New York's most underrated dual threats – the Brooklyn veteran, formerly known as 8-Off with Purple City history behind him, traditionally builds his own grim foundations, and this is no exception. "Allah's Cartel" brings in Tragedy Khadafi, a Queensbridge legend whose fatalistic street perspective has shaped entire generations of MCs since his Intelligent Hoodlum days – the pairing is pure instinct logic: two veterans speaking the same language, with Pop Off adding the third voice. The track belongs to the album "Don't Kill The Messenger", released through Empire and Propain Campain. No retro theater – this is concentrated late-career work, Agallah's strengths in compressed form.
