"24 Wallis Ave" is a thoughtfully constructed album: twelve tracks with production split between I-Ty and Mr. G, and every cut handled by Jabba Tha Kut the DJ threading through the whole project as its connective tissue. That clear division of labor gives the record structure and a consistent sonic character. Features from James Wells, Wisdom (twice), Verbs and LJ Howard fold in organically, and from opener "Welcome To The Ave" to "The Show Goes On," the project carries a narrative frame. Album-thinking, not a track dump.
