LuGhz is a South London-based MC rooted in the Dusty Nayshun Entertainment crew. His partnership with French producer Kool M Da Loop Digga (aka Loopz) goes back seven years – together they released the 2022 album "The Lockdown Experiment", which featured LuGhz on the soulful underground classic "My Hip-Hop". Kool M is a Parisian beatmaker, DJ, and underground activist who has produced for French and international rappers including La Rumeur, Rocé, Karlito, Nejma Nefertiti, Napoleon da Legend, and Jaehussle – also known for his world-famous "Back to the Beat" vinyl breakbeats with Soul G. "Lossless Metadata" is LuGhz's second release of 2026, and the story behind it is painfully real: when longtime engineer Curtis Moses' hard drive crashed, all the original track files were lost – only the MP3s remained. Instead of scrapping the material, LuGhz chose to release the songs anyway and honor them as what was originally planned as a full collaborative album with Loopz. Five tracks, features from Indigo Phoenyx and Iron De Zero. The album title carries the irony of loss: "lossless" typically refers to non-compressed audio formats – here it points to the opposite.
