"Showtime" is Pitchcaps' first full album after four EPs, and the three members Djar One, Senbeï, and Kesta treat it like the announcement they've been building toward since the Acoosmik years began in 2005. Djar One handles the bulk of the production, with Kesta producing "P.I.T.C.H.C.A.P.S.", "I Like My Beats Hard", and "Saoul Assassins"; all cuts belong to Kesta; the mix and master are done by Djar One at Beats House Studio in Le Havre. The guest list stretches wide: Phill Most Chill, Whirlwind D, Chrome, BlabberMouf, Viktor Coup?K, and the enormous closer "Money Time," which packs Gérard Baste, Mr Xavier, DEF, Jimmy Cena, Le Jules, Anton, MC RYT, and JC Vandal onto one five-minute stage. The album is funky, politically grounded, and built for live environments a crew that writes like they're facing an audience, not a mixing desk.
