A circle closes within this column. "Lightning in a Bottle" opened "Righteous Gemstones Pt. 4," the MRKBH and Rico James project already covered here alongside the "Footprints" video. It now arrives as a standalone release through Dark Ages Music and it arrives twice: Rico James' original sits beside a remix from Pro Knows Music. The cast stays identical, with El Da Sensei of the Artifacts, Tha Truth of Swamp Camp and DJ Kanga on cuts. This is the most interesting format in the batch: two producers, the same vocals, 4:46 against 4:42. Anyone trying to understand beat architecture gets a direct comparison lab rather than a claim. With El Da Sensei's verse and DJ Kanga's cuts carrying unchanged into both versions, the production becomes the only variable in the experiment.
