Indigo Phoenyx and Adwerdz collaborate on a sinister cinematic soundtrack titled Black Swan . The project concept is loosely based on the psychological thriller Black Swan a film about an aspiring ballerina that spirals out of control for her moment in the spotlight.
The dance swan lake features a beautiful white swan turned from ugly duckling. The Black Swan symbolizes the dark side of one's mind when it comes to competition, feelings of inadequacy and the need for validation. Indigo translates her experiences in life and the music industry in these same scenarios and weaves a tale of feeling alone, counted out but then finding her stride. Sometimes it takes a few knives in your back to make you realize your energy is misplaced. Adwerdz has a bold beat curation style that compliments Indigo’s gritty lyrics. He has a grasp on captivating drums and perfectly laced sampling that have a major head nod factor while evoking emotions.
