After dropping their high grade full-length album last Friday, Long Island natives BP and Bunchy Cartier are back with the visuals for album standout "All Over Me." Directed by Scientific Lens, the video sees Bunchy letting loose in a graffiti-laced abandoned building, which calls back to the street life content of the song.
Long Island has produced a plethora of outstanding Hip-Hop artists including Busta Rhymes, Roc Marciano, EPMD, and many more. However, the LI village of Amityville has long been associated with its real life haunted house and the horror films it spawned, rather than Hip-Hop. Producer BP and emcee Bunchy Cartier are looking to change that with their collaborative album "Amity Villains," which is the only the first volume in a series.
The 12-track album is full of hard-hitting yet smooth beats and razor sharp bars. This is that weight-moving rap that excites the feds. Bunchy is one half of the rap duo Dunbar along with Sure Shot Top Dolla, who shows up on five songs on "Amity Villains," including the album standouts "Go Get My Money" and "World Renown." Niagara Falls hustler Jamal Gasol and fellow Strong Island native Bub Rock also drop dope guest verses.
Dunbar deserves your ear. The duo of Bunchy Cartier and Sure Shot Top Dolla are two of Amityville's finest exports. They have been overlooked for years but that's all about to change when they go on a multi release run that starts now and will continue well into 2022.
To spark the onslaught Bunchy has an album titled "Amity Villains" with production powerhouse BP dropping next Friday, December 10. The laidback second single from the project, "Weight For It," will have you singing along after just one listen.
Dunbar are one of the most underrated groups in the game. Made up of Amityville, Long Island emcees Bunchy Cartier and Sure Shot, Dunbar have been putting out high quality Street Hop since 2016-17. Not only do they deserve more shine but they could easily have Top 20 hits with their sing-song hooks and mellifluous flows.
Well, Bunchy has an album titled "Amity Villains" on the way with fellow Strong Island repper and producer extraordinaire BP that may finally get the Dunbar brand the respect it deserves. Sure Shot is on 5 of the 12 cuts, including the first single, "Go Get My Money," which we’re hitting you with today.
