Classic boom bap sound in a fresh dress for 2024!
Agent Dan & Mr. Mile finally teamed up, linked their MPCs, chopped stacks of
records and pushed buttons to create some unique muffled and bassy, but full and
warm soundscapes! The result are 13 straight banging beats featuring a variety of
dope international MCs and polished with nice cuts.

Members: Agent Dan & Mr. Mile
Dan & Mile grew up in the same small village and have been friends
since kindergarten. In the mid-90s they started skateboarding together and so also
first got in touch with hip hop sound, because the older guys at the local skatepark
began to pump German rap at that time. After hearing this “new“ art of hypnotic
loops and relatable lyrics, they fell in love with the culture and started to experience
with all of their elements. Around the year 2000, both were leading members of the
first rap band in town, producing, rapping and DJing. Sound was poor, no one was
there to connect with and to learn from, but all had such a fun in simply doing it and
kicking it live, whenever possible.
As live went on, people moved to different areas and whilst the old rap band
crumbled, Dan and Mile kept on making sound in their new environments,
connected with other musicians, started different projects and collected beatmaker
skills over the years – but one thing never happened: an official release as a duo, as
it all started, as Dan & Mile pushing buttons.
On a beerful barbeque night in 2022, decisions were made: the plan was laid down,
to have a release on vinyl, produced exclusively by Agent Dan & Mr. Mile straight on
Akai MPCs, with the hard-hitting full level sample sound of the decade, that
influenced us the most: the early 2000s.
