REKS releases another visual from the album M.A.G.A. (MAKE ART GREAT AGAIN), the E.P. produced entirely by Massachusetts-based producers SHORT BUSS13.  The project continues to garner attention on streaming platforms and playlists, continuing the momentum of the #REKSDROPS33 campaign.  The video was directed by Marble Ave Films.

Melks joined forces with ShortFyuz and Vinyl Villain to create the title track to one of three E.P.s dropped by REKS in February 2024.  The hard hitting sound bed allows the Lawrence MA emcee to show he is aging like fine wine.  The multi talented members of Marble Ave Films are becoming a continuous collaborator with REKS ( Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme)

REKS X SHORT BUSS13 - META VERSE (Cuts by Dj Statik Selektah) / REKS x Melks - Concrete Roses ft Bakari J.B.

REKS drops the 2nd set of visuals from M.A.G.A (Make Art Great Again) a collaborative E.P. with Massachusetts producers SHORT BUSS13.  Legendary producer/DJ, Statik Selektah provides cuts for the Dooms Day Theory vibes of Meta Verse.  The A.I. generated visuals by Queen Philosophical aka SHEven Spielberg are a perfect match for the lyrical onslaught and timely message.

REKS invokes the spirit of Tupac Amaru Shakur and taps into his deeper emotional bag to touch on the theme of The Rose That Grew Out of Concrete.  The Melks-produced gem is highlighted by a powerful and moving verse from Bakari J.B. REKS x Melks collaboration Y.O.D.A. drops February 16, 2024.

Lawrence Massachusetts emcee REKS is back to work after his Rather Unique release with Samir.  Not wasting a moment, REKS has dropped 3 new videos simultaneously.  First we have Big 3 from his collaborative project with SHORT BUSS13, a posse cut featuring heavyweight lyricists from California, New York and Massachusetts (Shabaam Sahdeeq, Ras Kass, Chilla Jones, Ruste Juxx, Planet Asia, Termanology, Illa Ghee and Bishop Lamont). Poland's Dj Decks is on the cuts as he delivers a remarkable hook for the tri-city union.  The video is a mesmerizing animation by Australian visual artist Tenth Dan.

A chance meeting in a barbershop in Framingham, 01702 led to the creation of this project! The project was written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered in 01702 by people from 01702, so it's only fitting that it's the name of this EP.
