For those who might not know, Focus is a heavyweight producer who signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment in 2002. He’s worked with legends like Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, John Legend, and more. His deep understanding of hip-hop’s essence makes him the ideal producer to kick off this trilogy with Shabazz.

As for Shabazz, his legacy with Wu-Tang and Gravediggaz speaks for itself. His collaboration with Focus on this project is nothing short of a powerful blend of nostalgia and innovation, capturing the true spirit of hip-hop.

The Psalmist Trilogy is inspired by the ancient psalmists—those who crafted timeless hymns that have endured through the ages. Each part of the trilogy pairs Shabazz with a different producer, each bringing their unique flavor to the table.

Shabazz released a handful of singles in the mid-90s in anticipation of his planned 1998 debut LP on GZA Entertainment. However, the label folded. Baz worked closely with various producers from Su-Preme to Carlos Bess to complete albums that never saw the light of day. Few songs were leaked out as singles, compilations etc and others stayed in the archives until now. For the first time it is made available as it was intended and on digital and CD.

This is Vol. 1 of Pro-Baz Series, which is Shabazz and a producer project, This volume is with his Long time associate and Wu-Tang prouducer and engineer Carlos Bess.

Limited to 50 copies.

The first 12 is the C12 Edition with different artwork and track listings

The next 38 is the Limited Edition version with new artwork and differing tracklist.

The Red Hook Houses are two connected public housing complexes located in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York City. Red Hook is known for its diverse community, rich history, and unique geography. It's one of the only places in Brooklyn with a clear view of the Statue of Liberty. In fact, Red Hook offers the only frontal views of the Statue of Liberty in NYC.

The Red Hook Houses are composed of Red Hook East and Red Hook West. Red Hook West is composed of 14 residential buildings and one non-residential building with 1,480 total units and roughly 3,300 residents.
