This is the 3rd project released by The RejeX (Diamond B, Common As Muck, GBh & Coco B. Smooth) and the 2nd within 2023 (after "Disorderly Funk").
"Urban Life" contains an exploration of working class stories, social and political issues/concepts, as well as The RejeX's own brand of sour chewits/tongue-in-cheek levels of funk, humorous yet perverse horrorcore, technophobic delusions and unfiltered self-deprecation... and the occasional mockery of more youthful urban genres!
They say this feels like our strongest project to date, with all 4 members appearing together on 6 of the album's tracks. So, on behalf of The RejeX, we hope you find something you like in this project...but don't cross your fingers!
