Originally Formed by MCs ID 4 Windz aka Invizible Handz, Lil Scienz aka John Robinson and their late comrade Inspector Willabee (Rest in Power). SOL crew first started to get a buzz in New York City’s underground hip-hop scene in the mid 90’s era and after connecting with Bobbito Garcian's Fondle 'Em Records, their debut single the "Powers of the Nine Ether" dropped in the late '90s to an enthusiastic reception.
