Producer Onaje Jordan drops a new single "Elegance" anchored by verses from Comrades, Massachusetts emcee Killy Shoot, California spitter GeneralBackPain and upstate NY producer Chuck Chan. Of the joint, Jordan said, "The piano in the sample reminded me of elegance, and I feel like that's what Hometeam is pushing as a unit.
This is the first leak from the upcoming Alpha 2 EP (following the first edition that dropped in 2021), and like the first edition, it will feature an impressive list of collaborators. Chicago, Illinois native Onaje Jordan has become a go-to producer for jazzy and dark soundscapes as well as deep crates of cinematic breaks. He has laced projects and tracks for emcees like Kingdom Kome, P-Ro, Asun Eastwood, Recognize Ali and many more. Collaborators on Alpha 2 (besides the aforementioned ones on "Elegance") include New Villain, G Fam Black and DNTE as well as turntable work from Tone Spliff.
