Boston rhyme slayer M-Dot teams up with legendary emcee Grand Puba (of Brand Nubian fame) for his latest single "Run Along". The track finds the two rap titans trading verses filled with sharp truth darts over emphatic production from The Mighty V.I.C. (Big Pun, Kool G Rap, Joell Ortiz) and cuts from Dom2er and DJ 7L (of Czarface). The album was also mastered by legendary engineer Eddie Sancho (Jay-Z, Nas, Gang Starr). The video, edited by Victor Keys, is a throwback to the "NBA Jam" days and adds to the traditional sound of the record.
The single is taken from the upcoming album "Daze Of Greed", which is out 3/8/24 and available for pre-order now via Bandcamp. The album features production by M-Phazes, Vinny Idol, 88 Keys, Apollo Brown, The Mighty V.I.C. and appearances by Big Shug (Gang Starr Foundation), Estee Nack (Griselda), Grand Puba (Brand Nubian), Ty Farris & M-Dot's EMS crew.
