Aasim signed his first record deal with Loud Records at 17. Puff Daddy heard him on New York's Hot 97 radio station and signed him to Bad Boy Ent.
His debut album, Money Pit, was released in 2005, featuring Black Rob and Fat Joe. He wrote 7 songs on Diddy's 2006 album Press Play. He was feat in the Electronic Arts video game, NBA Live 08. He also wrote 5 songs on Diddy's Last Train to Paris.
