Up and coming artist "Omar RAPP$" from Chicago, IL is trying to make a mark in the Hip Hop scene. Growing up in the South Shore area or what Chicagoans say, "Eastside” or "a Ova East" of the city where he was influenced by artist Nas and Common Sense, Lupe Fiasco Styles P and others. Later on in his life at 17yrs old, he relocated in the Roseland neighborhood on the Southside of Chicago. For Omar, coming up in the hood was tough for any kid. A lot of times because of little resources, the youth is influence by quick money, crime, murder and gangs. In spite of his environment, Omar finds a way to overcome the trails and tribulations that comes with being a young black man, living in Chicago, through his music abilities. Omar RAPP$ rhymes are lyrical, honest, true to himself, emotional, soulful, real and deep enough to touch the city. "Omar RAPS" has the potential to give this country great music at the highest level . His talent will influence the Hip Hop scene in a major way in time.
