Tha Rhyme Animal has been building through the SARS Network since at least 2013, with a catalog that includes collaborations with Asun Eastwood, SAYZEE, and Slang Hugh across multiple projects. The first "Animal Writes" was released in May 2025 on SARS Records, and "Upper Hand" serves as the lead single for the second installment, due June 2026. Slang Hugh handles production and appears in the video, shot by Lyme Lyte Video. The description is refreshingly unvarnished – two artists smoking blunts while reality shifts around them, still delivering despite being, by their own admission, "high as hell." That's the energy.
