Rob Roy was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, and is a Calgary-based hip-hop artist rooted in the raw spirit of golden era boom bap. Blending cinematic storytelling, hard-hitting lyricism, and deeply personal themes, his music reflects the realities of struggle, survival, redemption, and self-reflection. Drawing inspiration from classic hip-hop culture while carving his own lane. 

Street Chapters is a cinematic boom bap concept EP that tells the story of a man consumed by money, violence, paranoia, and the streets, only to find himself standing at the crossroads between destruction and redemption. Through dark production, skits, storytelling, and raw lyricism, each chapter follows the psychological and spiritual unraveling of the main character as he confronts betrayal, guilt, faith, and the consequences of the life he chose. Inspired by golden era hip-hop and presented like an audio movie, Street Chapters blends gritty street narratives with themes of judgment, confession, and salvation.
