Countess x Rice Master Yen "CON ART" [EP]

Four tracks, none longer than 80 seconds, barely four and a half minutes total – and still a sealed concept. The titles tell the story: "Diamond Doris" points to Doris Payne, the most legendary jewel thief of the 20th century, "237 rue saint-honorĂ©" and "Gran CafĂ© de Paris" set the Parisian backdrop, "May Day" marks the getaway. The album title says it plainly: CON ART – the swindle as an art form. Countess and Rice Master Yen aren't building an album here, they're building a storyboard; the brevity is part of the heist principle – get in, grab it, get out.
