2DEAD BOYZ is the gritty new incarnation of East Coast hip-hop firebrands Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice, of the Flatbush Zombies. The two spent more than a decade as two-thirds of Flatbush Zombies alongside Erick "The Architect" Elliott, helping establish a distinctly psychedelic corner of New York hip-hop. Flatbush Zombies emerged from Brooklyn in the early 2010s, becoming closely associated with New York's Beast Coast movement alongside Pro Era and The Underachievers. Meechy released his solo album "Gothic Luxury" in 2022, while Zombie Juice followed with "Love Without Conditions" in 2023. The name itself nods to Outkast's "2 Dope Boyz (in a Cadillac)," and the duo was heavily influenced by André 3000 and Big Boi. Meechy and Juice have been close since the fourth grade, bonding over pro wrestling, Dragon Ball Z, and mixtapes. "Felony Ring" is produced by JUNIE, and the duo is preparing a new album called "NO1LIVES4EVER." An accompanying US tour with The Underachievers makes this a Beast Coast reunion in spirit. Ineffable Records handles distribution through ØPulse.
