Blacko "THE GOODNESS" [VIDEO]

A new video from Blacko, running just under three minutes and arriving with no description, no credits and no stated location. What there is: the track, the artist's own channel, and a run of prior releases that says more about the direction than any note would. Blacko has spent this year putting out singles with titles drawn from organised-crime history and street shorthand "Roy Demayo," after the Gambino crew's most notorious killer; "Big Meech BMF (can't be stopped)"; "Black M.F"; "Memphis chick pressure," which landed at the start of the month. We ran the "Roy Demayo" video here in February and called it what it is: a dark anthem built on mafia aesthetics, delivered with the precision of someone who has been doing this a while. The visual for it is by some distance the most-viewed thing on the channel, which suggests that register is what his audience came for. "THE GOODNESS" continues the run. Beyond that there is very little to report honestly: no producer is credited, no label is named, and no statement accompanies the upload. For an artist operating entirely independently, that absence is itself the posture the work goes up, the titles do the talking, and the next one follows within weeks.
