Deadstock Pasta is the new single from Meyhem Lauren, taken from Table For One, an album of eleven tracks produced by Don D and the first release on White Truffle Records. The Queens native has spent two decades making the kind of rap that does not ask permission, and the new label name fits the brand: truffles, pasta, the good life rendered in street terms. The album title suggests solitude as a posture; the single title suggests what is cooking. This year the site has traced his name in passing, in the Action Bronson and T.F coverage; a single of his own puts him back at the center. The menu is short, the portions are honest. Deadstock only.
