PREZ ART comes out of the Chicago area and works with Sound Scandal Music Group, the imprint that's pushing the record. "Scenic Route" is a single off Take Notes, an album that's already available, and the video is the new element here shot and directed by DA WRECK, with production by RIOTSSMG. Beyond that, verifiable information is thin: no production credits beyond the beat, no mixing or mastering details, no tracklist published, and no biographical material available for a rapper who appears to be working entirely outside the press cycle. That's worth saying plainly rather than papering over. What the record itself offers is roughly three minutes of straightforward, unhurried Midwestern rap no hook gimmick, no guest verse, a single voice over a single beat. For listeners who work through Chicago's independent tier artist by artist, this is one to log.
