They Smiled As They Locked The Cage is a single from the upcoming collaborative album between B1 The Architect and Flu Dust, with B1 on vocals, mixing and mastering and Flu Dust handling all of the production. The subject, per the release notes, is the feeling of being shackled, unable to progress, a cog in a machine much bigger than you; the song carries a melodic hook, scathing verses and a closing guitar solo from All Buttons In. The video was directed and shot by Corben Edward of Blade Runnerz and edited by B1 himself. B1's Toronto dossier is already on this site, from To The Heavens with Roshin, 9th Uno and D-Sisive to the guest spot on Eclyse's horror soundtrack album. Two continents, one cage.
