Urban Legend has already shared an entire album with Taiyamo Denku. His appearance on “Side Talking” brings that partnership into Denku’s collaboration with Son Em' All, with J-Hood completing the lineup over production by BoFaat. The single previews Denku and Son Em' All’s forthcoming album, produced entirely by BoFaat, a collaboration they introduced earlier through “CLOCKWORK.” Son Em' All brings his own history within Milwaukee’s collaborative rap community. In 2017, his “Wake Up!” was featured in the rollout for DSCRIBE’s Land By The Lake II compilation, which assembled 30 musicians across 20 tracks. Denku’s relationship with Urban Legend subsequently yielded Artistic Display, an album pairing the two with guests including Sean Price, Black Rob and Kool G Rap. BoFaat is another established partner, having produced Denku’s Do You Want Bars? in full. For “Side Talking,” those continuing relationships meet J-Hood’s history recording alongside the LOX as part of D-Block, including his appearance on Sheek Louch’s “Mighty D-Block (2 Guns Up).”
