Nyark Music continues its relentless output with our eighth release of 2024. It’s time to take you down South, South East London to be precise, with a heavyweight six track EP from two of the capital cities finest… Airklipz and GOLD. These two talented wordsmiths have known each other for years and this project has been something that has been manifesting for a few years. Now after a few months in their respective creative zones, we get this underground masterpiece entitled ‘Golden Klipz’. Airklipz is no stranger to Nyark fans releasing ‘Smooth Street Lullabies’ with producer Thugs Bunny, solo EP ‘Road Rhythms’, a collaboration EP with Nyark artist Hazz entitled ‘Higher Livin’ and more recently ‘reel Music’ and Ep with producer Midas Cash. GOLD is known for his hard-hitting, street-inspired lyrics and smooth flow, drawing from his own life experiences and observations. He features heavily on Nyark’s upcoming fourteen track compilation ‘Striving For Greatness’, as well as a string of other future Nyark releases.

Josh Esh gives up funk fuelled dramatic groove for ‘Bareface’ which kicks off the proceedings with Gold giving us a quality display of his epic street commentary before Airklipz joining him with some thought-provoking bars. Next up is the video track “Came Up On A Different Class”, a laid-back gem produced by Sunday that see’s the London duo pay homage to their hometown Lewisham. Midas Cash gives up the first of three beats with the Jimmy Screech collaboration track ‘Greenfields’ before unleashing the EP’s next track ‘Tell The Truth’. The Ace Bimma produced ‘Perspective’ is head nodding piano led banger that hits hard with its slowed down unique hook line. The EP is wrapped up with the apt ‘Gone’, produced by Midas Cash, this track has a unique musicality that sees Airklipz & GOLD flow with ease. ‘Golden Klipz’ is diverse, original, imaginative, timeless, cutting-edge and creatively adventurous. It’s an EP that fans of real Hip-Hop will instantly add to their playlists… Golden Kilpz is a future classic worth its weight in gold.

2024 has been a very productive year for Nyark Music so far. Back in January we released the various artists EP 'Audio Couture', followed by the great Hazz & Airklipz collaboration EP 'High Living' in February. In March we dropped the label's first album release 'Iceberg Mandalorian' by Wild Samson, a debut album that really put Nyark on the rap map. Now it's April and we're back with another banging release from South London wordsmith Aiklipz alongside the talented Midas Cash on the buttons. A match made in heaven, this duo of hard working hip hop heads join forces for a release we know you will cherish. This is Airklipz's third EP for Nyark and he is already working on an EP with London rapper GOLD, who is featured on this release, as well as working on his first album for Nyark. He is one of the most consistent artists in the game and is such an asset to any label, that's why we are so proud to unleash some 'Reel Music' on the world.

Recorded at Airklipz's studio The Vape Lounge, 'Reel Music' is a six track EP that deserves your attention. Midas Cash is no stranger to working with Nyark artists and his previous contributions to projects by Wild Samson and Hazz have been amazing. Together they smash their way through so many different vibes and emotions, giving the listener something to really absorb. Left For Dead' tells it like it is, raw rhymes over a deep head nodding groove before the only feature track 'Evans' sees GOLD go hard with Kilpz on a double tempo vibe. Japanese Rolex" sees some clever flow changes and world play on a tripped out beat, while the anthemic "Klipz & Midas" goes more militant on a horn led banger. The Only One" sees a different Klipz as he goes deep before wrapping up the project with the funkified "All I Eva Wanted". This is such a well-rounded EP, and this is Klipz & Midas, yes, simply put, this is 'Reel Music'.
