King Kashmere & Alecs DeLarge - Angel Strike (Remix)

King Kashmere & Alecs DeLarge Reveal '16-Bit Mega Mix' EP! OUT NOW

The year is 1994; home alone with a £5 temple ball, a big ass pizza & that crispy Mega Drive game your brother stole from Blockbuster.

Push the cart in, turn on the SEGA & bam! A pixelated duppy in a black suit appears on the screen, this is not Toejam & Earl...

To celebrate the release, we've revisited 'Angel Strike', a standout from 'The Album To End All Alien Abductions' and an absolute monster on the new EP.

16 Bit Mega Mix by King Kashmere & Alecs DeLarge

King Kashmere & Alecs DeLarge return in 16-bit to steal the princess, hoard the jewels & duppy the hero.

Armed with a Mega Drive & SP303, Alecs reworks a handful of tracks from ‘The Album To End All Alien Abductions’ into sizzling FM synths, syrupy basslines & Robotnik smashing grooves.

The 8-track EP sees each of the contenders on ‘Astro Children’ get their own boss theme to crush an opponent to Mortal Kombat style whilst Damien Darhk goes toe to toe with the Zeed Syndicate.

"Nutritious as a roast in a can..."

A timely reminder of Alecs DeLarge's lucid style, 'Scooby Snax' is taken from his self-produced debut LP 'Alecs In Wonderland'.

THICK BAG OF SLIME Feat. Alecs Delarge by King Kashmere

"Hey, are you a hard worker? Do you lose sleep working on your craft? Do you brave the elements to achieve your lofty goals? How about a big bag of slime for all your efforts? Money is overrated, slime builds character and nerves of steel. Get yours today!

Life is interesting. Everyone has their own experiences. For some of us, life is blissful, for others, life is mediocre, and for others, life is a struggle. Struggle doesn't mean it's all bad though, and it can be character building. I, and many others of the human species, fall into the latter category. THICK BAG OF SLIME is about striving and getting little in return, sometimes nothing but the life equivalent of GUNGE. Meanwhile, more powerful beings than those described above experience none of this and thrive in the most nefarious ways possible.

This song is about all that shit with a heaping helping of FONK. So hit play and turn it up... NOW."
