Eye of the Beholder by Fubar

Deeply introspective and dark journey through the tumultuous landscapes of depression, anger, and anxiety. This album represents my lifelong personal exploration of writing as a form of therapy and catharsis, a means to confront and express the raw, often overwhelming emotions that define my human condition.
The title, "Eye of the Beholder," speaks to the subjective nature of beauty and art. While the music may seem negative and heavy to many, it is through this darkness that I find a semblance of beauty and truth, much like a phoenix rising from the ashes—something powerful and beautiful emerging from the depths of despair.
This EP is a testament to resilience and the power of creative expression in the face of adversity. I hope that listeners will find solace and perhaps even beauty in the fruits of my labor. Despite the shadows that loom over this project, I believe there is a light within it that some will recognize and appreciate. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I sincerely hope you find something meaningful in these results of my struggles and perseverance.

Each track acts as a cathartic journey, inviting the listener into the complex landscape of his mind. The lyrical content is a poignant exploration of the artist's inner demons, providing a raw and unfiltered glimpse into the emotional turmoil that accompanies mental health challenges.

The artist acknowledges a perceived darkness in his music, going so far as to call it "evil. However, he introduces a thought-provoking twist by considering this perceived malevolence as "necessary evil. In this context, music becomes an essential part of the artist's coping mechanism, a requirement for him to achieve a sense of normalcy. The term "Necessary Evil" implies that creating such music is an indispensable part of the artist's journey toward self-discovery and mental well-being.

This album challenges conventional notions of darkness and embraces the idea that expressing one's inner turmoil can be both unsettling and vital to personal equilibrium. "A haunting yet essential exploration of the shadows within, Necessary Evil offers listeners a visceral and authentic experience of the artist's ongoing struggle with mental health.
