Yellow Goose is an ode to Fredro Starr’s legendary 1996 role as Shorty Doo Wop in Sunset Park.

The title track from the EP ‘Yellow Goose’ showcases JD Era effortlessly rhyming over Fredro’s grimey production. Era’s hunger and bars are on full display as the Toronto emcee cruises over the hard hitting drums. 

The combination is a welcomed first offering from the duo’s upcoming 100 MAD release, Yellow Goose EP.

Dj Chino420 & Sibbs Roc - 4 Da Game (feat. JD Era, D.O.V, Termanology & Talia)

 

4 Da Game is a long-time coming collaboration between DJ/Producer Dj Chino420 and Gold Era Producer Sibbs Roc. With a folder of Sibbs Roc’s instrumentals, Dj Chino connected with well-known Mississauga artist JD Era and laid the tone and foundation for the song. Shortly thereafter Dj Chino420 reached out to prominent Boston hip hop artist Termanology. Upon jumping on the track with a verse Termanology also wrote and recorded a raw version of the chorus for the song. Dj Chino420 then recruited fellow Hella Treez partner and local Toronto based hip hop artist D.O.V. Soon after Dj Chino420 and D.O.V set out to Montreal, Quebec to appear as guests on two episodes of The Hu$tle Podcast.It was there where Dj Chino420 would get Singer/Rapper Talia, who also co-hosted The Hu$tle Podcast. With all the pieces set in stone Dj Chino420then got the engineering talent of 4Sounds Media’s Cortez to bring the song to life.
