Not For Show by Priest Da Nomad

"Not For Show”, from Priest Da Nomad's Vibrate High EP project stays consistent with its theme in regards to all of us living and connecting with each other on a more in depth way and purpose or in another words, vibrating high; and is an incredible presentation of Priest’s soulful boom bap pedigree! Priest Da Nomad once again teams up with producer DJ Rage out of Detroit and utilizes an excerpt from actress/singer Tisha Campbell in the classic Spike Lee film School Daze, along with cuts by DJ RBI! Priest is making sure to let everyone know that what he represents is real and "not for show". This amazing banger with a D.C. pocket style groove is sure to be a go to for the DJs!!

Oodles of Flows and Ohs by Priest Da Nomad

As an ode to the late great Dave (Trugoy) from De La Soul, Priest Da Nomad flips the classic "Oodles of Os" from the De La Soul is Dead album for a mixtape from Boom Bap Nation! He calls it "Oodles of Flows and Ohs"! DJs loved this so much, we decided to make it a free download. Much love to De La Soul and the entire Native Tongues family. Rest in peace and power Dave.. Enjoy and feel free to contribute to the movement of continued soulful hip hop to support..

Dynomight by Rock Creek Lee feat. Black Indian, Priest Da Nomad, Stacy Lattisaw

What happened to the days of the feel-good record? A jam that could be played at any party and get the crowd dancing? If that is the vibe you are looking for, then look no further as Rock Creek Lee hits you with the vibrant single Dynomight (Priest Mix).
Lee is not alone on this party mission, having recruited fellow DC wordsmiths Priest Da Nomad and Black Indian to back him up on this flip of a Stacy Lattisaw classic. This groove-induced bop walks the line between funk and disco, leaving listeners with vivid memories of a Saturday night jam at the roller rink.

With an animated video from the creative team at mADurgency, this is a special tribute to Black Indian after his untimely passing earlier this year, and marks one of the last records recorded with the legendary MC, released on his birthday 11/11.

Priest Da Nomad - Proud feat. Oddisee & Substantial

There is a movement of quality MCS and artists coming out of the Washington DC area or as many nowadays call it, the “DMV”. What many outside of the area don’t know is that so many of these MCs are intimately connected, even if they are in different crews. Three such powerhouse MCs that are currently and separately contributing to the landscape of underground hip hop worldwide, just happen to be from this DMV area and have teamed up to simply show their pride of being conscious black men reppin and being positive impacts on their communities. Priest Da Nomad, Oddisee, and Substantial present “Proud”, a soulful sonic collaborative bomb produced by DJ Roddy Rod, that will be sure to give the listener neck spasms! Enjoy!
