With a notable presence in the Boston and Cambridge underground hip-hop scenes for over two decades, Knux has made a global name for himself as part of the legendary group NBS (Natural Born Spitters), gracing stages on six continents.

The title "The Next Chapter" signifies Knuckles' journey as he embarks on a new chapter in his life, settling down with his fiancée and welcoming a baby boy into the world. This narrative unfolds through beats and rhymes that capture his evolution and newfound inspiration.

Knuckles and Phoniks brought in a team of underground legends for this project, including the iconic Inspectah Deck (of the Wu-Tang Clan), Fredro Starr (of Onyx), Termanology, Edo. G, Reks, Awon, Flash (from NBS) and many more. Each artist adds a unique flavor, resulting in a dynamic and compelling album that not only pays homage to the roots of underground hip-hop, but also propels it into the next chapter.

From V Knuckles:
"The Album Concept “Winter Warfare” is based on both the constant war I was having with myself, the war going on in my surroundings, and worldwide. I feel there’s battles (wars) that we all experience everyday in life and I reveal mine on this album! The world is cold and I wrote most of this album during the winter season so I thought “Winter Warfare” was a good way to describe the project as a whole."

V Knuckles ft. Millyz & Fredro Starr - G'z Up prod. by Nasihat

Mass. veteran emcee V Knuckles (of N.B.S.) recruits buzzing fellow Cambridge native Millyz and Fredro Starr (of legendary group Onyx) for "G'z Up" a gritty ode to the boom bap era and the G Code they abide by. You can find the song on his upcoming album "Winter Warfare" coming this March.

Here's what V had to say about the track himself:

"...I told them both of doing the collaboration and Millyz mentioned he wanted to bring back that old school boom bap vibe that we captured years ago on our collaborations dating back to 2010 & earlier so I sent him this beat from my my homie Nasihat out of Turkey. Both he & Dro rocked wit it so I laid down the idea and shortly after we had the track! G’z Up! G’z for Gentlemen that Make G’z & Follow The G Code! The Rest is history!"
