DJ I-Truth & Yahzeed Divine are an underground hip-hop duo from New York City who embody the raw essence of true-school craftsmanship. With nearly two decades each in the culture, the two veterans came together over the past year to create a new album built from the ground up using vinyl records, an MPC1, Ableton, and an uncompromising hands-on approach. DJ I-Truth, who has collaborated with Jemini the Gifted One, brings a sharp ear for rhythm and raw street energy, while Yahzeed Divine—longtime collaborator of Kool Keith, with whom he has an entire album—adds a futuristic edge and lyrical depth. Together, they represent a fusion of experience, innovation, and authenticity that keeps New York’s underground hip-hop spirit alive.
