Paulo and DJ Sylo team up once again, and their own framing nails it: the chemistry runs so deep that some claim they're one and the same person. Fourteen tracks, all written and performed by Paulo (the lone exception being Shoeperman on "Lights Out"), with every instrumental built by DJ Sylo. The album explicitly positions itself as a reminder of what made hip-hop timeless in the first place – lyrical craftsmanship, sample-driven production, records with something to say. Titles like "Cassette Tapes", "This Is How You Grow", and "Thinking Negatively" show the range between nostalgia and self-examination. The thesis is right there in the liner notes: the past isn't gone – the relics remain.
