"Black Label" comes from Apache's album "The 40s," with Psycho Woof and Santo Cerebro serving as executive producers. DJ Kanzer produces all instrumentals, mixes and masters the complete record. Faker handles recording at Santo Sonido Studio. NOFACE directs, operates the camera, edits and grades the color, while Jackreload manages graphic design and photography. The album title borrows from whisky vocabulary Black Label as a quality marker and DJ Kanzer's complete technical authorship gives the project an unusual internal consistency: one person responsible for the sonic and post-production architecture from beat to final mix.
