E Murda x Reke x Jotabit "El Mejor" [SINGLE]

Three names, and the one worth knowing about is Reke. Gustavo Ferrín, born in Caracas in 1983 and raised in Catia-Gramoven, is one of the foundational figures of Venezuelan hip-hop he came up through Guerrilla Seca and Subterráneo Records in the late nineties, released his solo debut El astronauta in 2010, founded the Una Sangre social project, and eventually emigrated to Europe as the country collapsed. Eleven albums deep, he is not a guest verse you book for reach. On the other side is E Murda, an American rapper whose credits run through the Griselda and Black Soprano Family orbit "Stuntman" with Conway the Machine, "Stay True" with Benny the Butcher, and 2nd Degree Murda last year. The two have worked together before, on "3030 Rifle" with Maverick Magadino in 2024. "El Mejor" runs two minutes fifty-five and is filed as Latin rap. Beyond the three-way credit there's very little published: no producer named, no mix details, no artwork credit, and nothing verifiable on Jotabit at all, who appears to be the third voice. What makes it worth a listen anyway is the collision. A Caracas veteran who spent two decades documenting a country's collapse and an American street rapper from the Benny the Butcher extended network are not obvious collaborators, and the track exists because of a relationship rather than a placement. Title aside "the best" this is a handshake record, and those are usually more interesting than the boast.
