MC Eiht "The Story of My Life" [ALBUM]

MC Eiht's The Story of My Life arrives tomorrow twenty tracks, roughly an hour, on Blue Stamp and the fastest way to understand what he's doing is to read the tracklist as a guest list. Conway The Machine. Pete Rock. B-Real. Dave East. Jay Worthy. Brotha Lynch Hung. Glasses Malone. And on the closer, "Tippin," Tha Chill his running mate from Compton's Most Wanted, the group that put Compton on the map alongside N.W.A. with Music to Driveby. Ferhan C produces, and he's produced the singles too: "Everyday" with Conway led the campaign, "8 Lawz" with Glasses Malone opens the record. Eiht has been recording since the late eighties, and when this album was first discussed in the autumn of 2025 he said it "might be the last album." It was originally slated for that October and has taken a year to arrive. The shape of it twenty tracks, a guest on roughly half, and a closing song with the one person who was there at the start reads as a summary rather than a new chapter. Whether it is the last one or not, it's built like an artist taking stock: "Remember Us," "We Been Bacc Here B4," "Hubcity," and a title that says the quiet part out loud. Covered here already through the "8 Lawz" video. The album lands tomorrow.
