LYSS shares filming duties with D-Pad on “Make the Play,” taking a hand in the visual presentation of the Asheville, North Carolina artist’s music. The official video appears on Paka The Plug, with the song produced by Collin Yanta and written by Sir Spear. “Make the Play” appeared as a standalone single before joining Give the Credit Where the Credit's Due, LYSS’ nine song album released earlier this year. The yantaverse name connects both releases to an earlier chapter, appearing alongside Doble Records on the 2023 single “Hands-On Learning.” The video announcement also points ahead to a project called Pretty Pennies, placing “Make the Play” between the existing album and LYSS’ plans for another release.
