LEMON ICE by JOJO PELLEGRINO

"Lemon Ice" by JoJo Pellegrino is a fresh, electrifying anthem that captures the duality of desire and deception. This track paints a vivid picture of a woman who’s as tempting as a cold lemon ice on a hot day, but leaves a sour taste once you get too close.

Produced by Calogero The Great, the song hits hard with heavy Italian vibes, blending traditional accordion melodies with a gritty, classic hip-hop beat. The track is a celebration of contrasts, from the smooth, sweet flow of the verses to the sharp, biting hook. It's a high-energy track that’s as refreshing as it is original, perfectly capturing the essence of a femme fatale who's more trouble than she's worth.

JOJO PELLEGRINO- WHO ARE YOU?

This is a cool visual for one of the many features Pellegrino has laid down for Indie artists.

When asked "How do you feel about the state of hip-hop?" Pellegrino, despite coming from the era of true lyricists, never complains. Instead, he simply states that it's a reflection of what's happening "outside" where this particular music comes from. Pellegrino makes the point that these guys you hear complaining are not only stuck in the past, unable to adapt, but also never in the neighbourhoods that breed and develop the culture, or in layman's terms, never where the youth is setting new trends, but instead living on the outskirts of hip hop culture, hating it, unable to stand out and push the envelope in today's market.

"Who are you to say what's hood or not for the culture? Ya inside where it's safe, we outside with them vultures".

JoJo Pellegrino - ITS WORKING FT. FRYDAY KNYTE

Its working!
The brand new heatrock from JJP off the HITMAN FOR HIRE V2 lp (Released May 21st 2021)
This raw and aggressive gritty sound is "so dirty but so clean" as Pelly and Fryday bring to the table exactly whats been missing all the while paying homage to the legendary hip hop classic film "Beat Street" where hip hop heads had to steal the electricity from the street lights just to run the music at local park jams where dance, rhyme, fashion along with street culture and art first came together as one! "Its working" also signifies the relentless grind JJP possesses as he goes hard in the rap game gaining more and more momentum with each bar reclaiming success leaving his mark everywhere in sight just like the graffiti that once graced every train in NYC moving! Enjoy!

This new banger from JoJo Pellegrino is just another brief yet more than effective reminder that Pelly AKA Young Blue Eyes (reference to Frank Sinatra's O'l Blue Eyes alias) is not playing around and has come to make an impact not only within hip-hop culture but also throughout the world of music and entertainment. "Let me Know" is flooded with bars that are sure to make you sure ya face up! "JJP....R.I.P... O.D.B with that said what ya'll thought ya'll wasn't got see me!?" Featured on the new full length album from Pellegrino entitled "HITMAN FOR HIRE V2" "Let Me Know" is sure to set the tone and keep fans paying close attention.
